Marte Hansen (NO)

Producer. Born in 1991. Graduated from The Norwegian Film School in 2018.

Marte Hansen founded the company MAHA FILM AS in 2015, and started her career as a producer of award-winning short films like Quiet on Set and Explosions in the Heart. Her graduation film from The Norwegian Film School, The Culture recently won at Palm Springs Short Film Festival and the FIPRESCI-Award at the Short Film Festival in Drama, as well as being awarded best Norwegian Short Film at Bergen International Film Festival. In 2018 Marte graduated from the Norwegian Film School and was employed by Friland Produksjon shortly after. She is currently in development of several feature and TV-drama projects, focusing mostly on content for children and young adults, as well as high-concept “true story” drama. In 2019 she was Amanda-nominated for best short film, for her work on the The Culture.
